For the summer, we will gather in Transylvania County on July 9 and August 13. These are social events without formal presentations but they offer great opportunities to invite your friends to meet some PCTU members and learn about the chapter. For us to be effective, we must engage in our communities to build a coalition to advocate for coldwater conservation.

We will meet at the BluAxis Realty office in Hendersonville to learn from one of the most knowledgeable people about all things trout fishing. Patrick Weaver is a fishing guide and expert in aquatic ecology. He owns Weaver Fly Fishing that offers classes and guided trips for trout and bass.

Patrick will discuss techniques to catch trout and summer bugs and the flies that imitate them. Bring a friend and cup of coffee, meet new friends, and learn from a great teacher.
