Chapter Bylaws

Our chapter bylaws were amended and updated by unanimous vote of the membership at our September 13, 2018 annual meeting.  You can view and download a copy of your own at the right, and we encourage you to read through them to better understand how the business of our chapter is conducted.

We’re also forming a policies, procedures and documents review committee in Spring, 2019.  The committee’s purpose will be to evaluate how and why we’re doing things as a chapter now, and give the board advice and suggestions about how we can make things better, more accessible and more transparent.

If you’re interested in serving on that committee, please contact chapter president Sara Jerome.

Pisgah TU programs are coordinated and implemented by many dedicated, hard-working volunteers.  No matter what your level of physical abilities or interests, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in our efforts to protect, restore and conserve coldwater fisheries here in western North Carolina.

Our all-volunteer officers and board put in many hours behind-the-scenes making sure our chapter remains on the forefront of conservation efforts and service to our members, and work hard to be good stewards of our members' trust.

Check out our Programs page for more information on specific opportunities and send an email to news@pisgahtu.org if you are interested in volunteering.
